Don't bother, unless you want to read a book to distract yourself and you want something you don't have to think or read good prose.

I loved it. There were parts that were very slow paced, but then it picked up again. I would recommend this if you like paranormal romance .

Ray Porter delivered the best performance I have listened. Matheson's Hell House leaves you with feeling of dread. a well written, buy terrifying story that will make you scared. It is a fantastic listen, but not for those who scare easily.

What did you like best about The Choice? What did you like least?

If you ever listened or read Nicholas Sparks' books, you know what you are getting to. It is the kind of reading if you want to relax and enjoy a good romance. However, and I noticed this in most of his books, the stories start very well and in the middle you start to lose interest. It was the same with The Choice.

Has The Choice put you off other books in this genre?

Never. I love reading romance. It is my favourite genre, but it may have put me off reading Nicolas Sparks. The reason is that all books from him that I read, I lose interest and want to stop reading. I have to make a great effort to keep going.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

I loved the beginning of the book, the parts where romantic characters are getting to know each other.

If this book were a film would you go see it?

I would watch it on TV, but I wouldn't pay for it.

Any additional comments?

The greatest part of this audiobook is the narration. The narrator is amazing. If it wasn't for his performance , I would have probably stopped reading.

I am a fan of RPG videogame The Witcher and when I found out it is based on this novel, I did not hesitate to read it. it is very good. You meet Geralt of Rivia, a witcher whose job is to kill monsters.
This book is a collection of short stories telling tales of Geralt, his deals with politics ( unwilling but hard to avoid ) and the people who are friends in adventures ( Dandelion) and many lovers. Geralt is a mutated witcher and strange looking, but this only attracts women to him.
This book is for a more mature audience and should be the first one to read to get a glimpse of who the witcher is, but don't stop here. There are others to be read.

what a pleasant read. I will start with the narrator. she is like something new, an invigorating narration, not like some stuff reading.
the story is amazing. I usually avoid reading stories of wars. it is not a subject I like to read as it depresses me, but not this one. the love story is beautiful enough.
the ending was not predictable. some. aspects of the story were, but it is a book I would recommend.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Girl You Left Behind to be better than the print version?

I cannot compare an audio book with a print book as their formats are different.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Girl You Left Behind?

The daily life of the main characters, how they dealt with each other and how the listener understood their feelings when they did not.

Which character – as performed by Clare Corbett and Penelope Rawlins – was your favourite?

I loved both equally. They were simply perfect.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment where the two meet and you can see the male character rudeness and you know this is going to change. The whole story is full of moving moments and I loved the way the guy called the girl 'Clarke'.

Any additional comments?

a beautiful written story. Everyone should listen to this book.

Would you try another book written by Emma Chase or narrated by Sebastian York?

I would think twice about reading or listening to another book by Emma Chase, but I would listen to something else narrated by Sebastian York.

Has Tangled put you off other books in this genre?

It is almost there. I was really put off by the sex scenes in this book as I was not looking for an erotica novel.

What aspect of Sebastian York’s performance might you have changed?

He was brilliant for this narration. His voice tone was perfect with the character.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Frustration. It is a very bad story. I was intrigued by a man's point of view, but all I could get was the sense of a woman telling how a man feels. The story was dull, there was no conflict and the characters were dull. I could not sympathise with any of them. Also, the writing was full of clichés and overused jargons.

Any additional comments?

This is one to avoid. I will not listen to the sequels.

Would you listen to Last Letter from Your Lover again? Why?

Yes. It is a beautifully narrated love story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Last Letter from Your Lover?

The most memorable moment was of a love that never ended after decades. A hope that would never be taken away that one day those two people would meet again and be able to fnally love each other without any constraints or guilt.

What does Julia Franklin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Her voice was perfectly honed for this story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes. It was difficult to put off.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend to anyone. It is a light story, but that treats a serious condition such as autism and how this can affect an adult with a mild type of autism.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the whole clumsiness and the lack of social etiquette of the main male character. His way of thinking in how to find the perfect partner and the result of the experiment.

Which character – as performed by Dan O'Grady – was your favourite?

The scientist one ( I cannot remember his name as I read a while ago and I am terrible with names.)

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Would you care to marry a socially challenged person? I promise you will not regret.
