In My Life in Football, Keegan tells the story of his life, from the streets of Doncaster to signing for Liverpool under Bill Shankly, where he won three First Division titles, two UEFA Cups, a European Cup and the FA Cup before moving to Hamburg, where he won the Bundasliga as well as the Ballon d'Or twice. After retiring, Keegan enjoyed a legendary five-year spell as manager at Newcastle United, during which the club was promoted to the Premier League and then finished runners up in the top flight, not once but twice.

... I'm writing this as a huge Newcastle United fan and has Kevin Keegan as their footballing hero! The book is typical Keegan... honest, insightful, accessable and interesting. While I was engrossed and fascinated by his three touch points with Newcastle, I really enjoyed hearing about his early years and his time at Fulham, England and Manchester City. Highly recommended to any true football fan.

Danny Baker's first volume of autobiography, Going to Sea in a Sieve, was a Sunday Times best seller, acclaimed for its nonstop humour and anecdotal flourish. It told the exploits of Danny's extraordinary childhood and the wild living of his teenage years. Now he is 25, and it is 1982, and he embarks on an accidental and anxiety-induced career in television - going off alarming.

Always aware of Danny Baker but didn't really follow his career or work... but I've discovered what a writing genius he is... in my view...

She faces death with Past Mortems author Carla Valentine, explores how video games affect our attention with gamification expert Gabe Zichermann, and discovers the benefits of vaginal smearing with Professor Tim Spector. Natural Born Learners author Alex Beard reveals what teenagers really need to know for a good education and visitors to a New York soup kitchen help Ruby confront her fear of compassion.

I'm relatively new to Audible so maybe this is a non issue to most... my main gripe though with this 'book'is that it isn't a book!

It is a documentary or a podcast. It is a collection of interviews with experts in the area of mindfulness, anxiety, depression etc.

I love Ruby Wax and her knowledge on the subject and her ability to get the issues across was brilliant.... so I listened to the end and enjoyed it for what it was. I just felt a bit cheated!

Terry Wogan is one of Britain's most popular and successful broadcasters. Witty, charming, and relaxed, he has undoubtedly captured the nation's heart. Here, for the first time, he tells his story, from his beginnings in Limerick to incredible success as a national celebrity, in his own delightfully laconic fashion.
