This is an excellent book which is very well adapted into an audiobook by the narrator. It is a classic and I recommend it highly.

Continuing the story begun in The Hobbit, this is the first part of Tolkien’s epic masterpiece, The Lord of the Rings, available as a complete and unabridged audiobook. Sauron, the Dark Lord, has gathered to him all the Rings of Power - the means by which he intends to rule Middle-earth. All he lacks in his plans for dominion is the One Ring - the ring that rules them all - which has fallen into the hands of the hobbit, Bilbo Baggins.

I am a 14 year old boy who has never really bothered to read Lord of the Rings before now. I have recently got audible and this was the first audiobook that I brought. I was not disappointed. It was very well read and the story was incredibly gripping. I really loved it and I hope that you will consider buying this book.
