Loved the series for a long time, but the narrator could definitely have been much better. A favourite from years back, unfortunately totally spoiled for me by being unabridged. The whole story is much richer than this.

Book 0ne of the Wheel of time series where we meet Rand, Egwene and their friends as they flee their village along with the mysterious Aes Sedai named Moiraine and the enigmatic Lan. They are not really sure where they are running to, or why, but will the answers they find as they travel make their paths any clearer?
A great beginning to an excellent series

Yet Another great book from Terry Brooks. I don't think I have ever known a bad one. The narrator John Lee does an amazing job. I would recommend this series to fantasy readers everywhere

A very enjoyable book to listen to. I have listened to other books in the "Kid Sensation" series and if you like this book, they are also well worth trying. Best for YA but a fun read otherwise.

As a disabled person myself it is nice to see a collection where the disabled are not just viewed as an afterthought or a liability.

A great story of a young girl overcoming adversity and learning to believe in herself. The story has amusing areas and some tense parts. I have to admit that as this is a new author to me I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. As this is the first book in the series I am looking forward to to further books in the series.

A very enjoyable listen. Astris' naivety is almost painful at times, as is her lack of belief in herself. I love Lennons snarkey remarks and Jet-lis gentle rebukes. My only problem with the book was it was too short. I hope the next book is going to be on audio soon. Looking forward to it.

At times light-hearted, at others quite gruesome, this book will also bring tears to your eyes. Another fantastic tale of Dr. Bill Brockton from Jefferson Bass

I listened to most of this book but could not finish it. The dialogue is dry and uninteresting and the over zealous descriptions do my head in. My apologies to the narrator but I'm not sure anyone could get much out of this and I'm certain you tried. It is a shame because the story that hides in here is in itself a a get neat idea. It is the sort of thing you could almost imagine in that time and place. A great shame.

I enjoyed these stories of Angie and her friends and the strange and interesting characters they interact with. Unlike in so many of this type of story Angie is a feisty older lady who doesn't flinch away from awkward situations. She is also assured of her sexuality and not afraid to use it to advantage. Great stories with good characters and snarky dialogue. The narrator does an excellent job of bringing it all to life.
