Without question, one of the most eloquent accounts of vice I've ever heard.
A story about a man, his fame, good fortune and foibles. Wicked and witty and not to my taste.

Deanna Madden, aka Jessica Reilly, hasn't touched another person in three years. She hasn't left her apartment. She makes money from performing to webcams on a sex site, where her clients pay $6.99 a minute for her time. She's doing all right. The dollars are piling up in the bank. She's the number-three model on cams.com. And she hasn't killed anyone for years. But when Deanna sees on the news that a little girl called Annie has gone missing, the story rattles her carefully ordered world. It's uncomfortably similar to the dark fantasy of one of her most disturbing online clients....

I'll begin by saying I myself am an agnostic pantheist. I have a degree in Philosophy and Religion and a keen interest an stuff like this and mental and physical wellbeing generally.
I love books which grapple with tough issues, and books that help people. This book does both with critical and scholarly precision.

But the [quote] "performance" really is both drab and annoying.

The Eightfold Path is the most widely known formulation of the Buddha's teaching. It is ancient, reaching back to the Buddha's very first discourse, and it is highly venerated as a unique treasury of wisdom and practical guidance. The teaching of the Eightfold Path challenges us to grasp the implications of that vision, and asks us to transform ourselves in its light. Like the teaching itself, this work covers every aspect of life.

A good mix of thorough knowledge and basic explanation, technical terms and basic understanding. It has a well reasoned structure but as an audio book, sometimes difficult to grasp all the Sanskrit content.
