A really good story good characters .I think the book would have benefitted from an extra couple of chapters towards the end .feel a bit cheated with the Epilogue but on the whole a lovely read

I have enjoyed this series so much and the ending brought a tear to my eyes .The characters became like old friends .A really feel good story .I sincerely hope that at some point carole feels there is more to tell as I'm not ready to say goodbye to the choc lovers club .So nice to have pure escapism

long build up to a good twist

read this as an audio book. The twist in the book was worth the wait. But what a wait. Very dragged put story with endless dialogue on the first person .Such a shame as the whole story idea was very good .

A wonderful family saga possible spoilers.

This was a lovely book that pulled me in and made me care for the characters and their stories. Vivid descriptions brought hunters moon to life. My only hope is that veronica continues the story so we can find out about some of the stories she didn't tell like what happe ex to Dai and what Annie did for a career and wether phoebe became successful. As usual Julia Barrie was exceptional as the narrator .

Wonderful a book that leaves you wanting more

I was totally drawn in from the first chapter Anna the narrator had the most soothing voice. I particularly liked that each chapter was dedicated to each individual story .This was my first veronica Henry book but it won't be my last .The descriptions of the orient express and the journey on the train and Venice really brought the story to life . I loved it .
