This is a really good story and I read the book before listening to the recording. I do like Jeffrey Kafer I think he has a really mesmeric voice that enhances any book he reads. He made this story so much more enjoyable like drinking a cup of rich dark chocolate. Add in sexy wolves the odd dragon or two and this story is a real winner.

I cant tell you how eagerly I have waited for this audible book.. I really enjoyed reading the book but I wanted to listen to the audible version because the presenter is so good and has a real "feel" for the story. I feel like he gets more and more into the series as he reads. His enjoyment of the story clearly comes across as he reads and that made such a difference to how I enjoyed listening to his presentation. The end of the last book was unexpected and that feeling carried on into this one. The whole story is very emotional but happily it gradually lightens up and all is revealed. Anika and Talvi's story is a passionate one. By the end of the book I was satisfied by how things were turning out and my mind had eased considerably. I love this series and the people in it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story I thought it was really well written with an imaginative storyline. It is a little bit different which gives it a needed edge over the dozens of more predictable stories in the genre.. The presenters are excellent and I am so glad that there was a male and female reading the scenes. I think that always makes an audio book better to listen to.

This is a beautiful story I loved it so much. It is a classic romance of the period and absolutely charming. So elegant and full of colour in it's description of a period sadly long gone. A moment in time captured forever, to be brought out and enjoyed as if the day had just dawned.

This is a an emotional love story that touched my heart . It is beautiful, the selfless romantic devotion of two damaged people who are ready to give heart and soul to each other. There is substance to the story and it is clean with the violence modified. I like that it has moments of great passion and excitement without being explicit. That was never needed to make it good. The narrator is excellent I liked him a lot, he was right for the book, an excellent choice.

Lovely story that is quite funny though I do not think it is supposed to be. It is a love story that is full of misunderstandings that go backwards and forwards and seem never to get resolved. For intelligent people they are remarkably stupid lol. That is a good thing or there would not be any story. I liked it a lot, it is very entertaining. The narrator is excellent and well chosen.

I really enjoyed this story, I was not sure what I expected before I started to listen to this recording but it was not this wonderful saga. I am so impressed with the author's empathy and obvious love of the people she writes about. Right from the start I felt so close to the two tribes and their struggle to integrate with each other and just forge out an existence in a harsh world. The struggling lovers and the wonderful character Cricket and the old Chiefs are so endearing and bring the tribes to life. The narration was excellent I can't fault it and I am so glad I had the chance to listen to this wonderful story. It deserves the 5 stars I gave it.

This is a very erotic story having two brothers wanting to be with one woman. They do not want a casual affair they want to spend their life with her. This is normal in the town of Lusty, many relationships are 2 or even 3 men and one woman. If this doesn't bother you then you will like this story. The brothers are very sincere and loving and kind. The woman they have set their hearts on went through a terrible tragedy and trouble is still following her. The story is very exciting with a lot of interesting things going on. The romance is sizzling and hot and very explicit. The presenter reads very well, and I was happy with how she read some of the difficult scenes. I think she did a good job all the way through. I loved the story but thought the terminology in the intimate scenes did not match the gentleness and overall manners of the brothers. But that is my personal opinion which younger people might not agree with. It should not stop you buying the recording because it is really enjoyable.
