Penguin presents the audiobook edition of The Grey Ghost by Clive Cussler and Robin Burcell, read by Scott Brick. In 1906, a groundbreaking Rolls-Royce prototype known as the Grey Ghost vanishes from the streets of Manchester, England, and it is only the lucky intervention of an American detective named Isaac Bell that prevents it from being lost forever. Not even he can save the good name of Marcus Peyton, however, the man wrongly blamed for the theft, and more than a hundred years later, it is his grandson who turns to Sam and Remi Fargo to help prove his grandfather's innocence.

The worst Fargo tale by far - appalling storyline, poor research and dreadful delivery - for once, Scott Brick has really failed to hit the mark - his English accents amongst the worst I’ve ever heard !

Husband-and-wife treasure-hunting team Sam and Remi Fargo have gone on impossible missions before and faced many perils, but never have they faced an adversary as determined as the one before them now. The battle will take them halfway around the world and at its end will be either one of the most glorious finds in history - or certain death.

What did you like most about Pirate?

Easy plot, familiar characters and a few good twists

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The narration was not Scott Brick at his best - his drifting UK West Country accent and then an East of England accent was laughable

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Made me smile !

James Bond is back where he belongs. Anthony Horowitz's new novel is a thrilling tour de force, sure to delight fans of the original 007 novels and new readers alike. It also features previously unseen material written by Bond's creator, Ian Fleming. The story begins in the lethal world of Grand Prix and an attempt by the Russians to sabotage a race at Nürburgring, the most dangerous track in Europe.
