From the number-one best-selling author of Bad Behaviour and If You Were Me comes an engaging, warm and thought-provoking new novel about a secret that can't be kept under wraps any longer - whatever the consequences. Not to be missed by readers of Jane Green, Lisa Jewell, and Marian Keyes. A romantic holiday in sunny Rome. A happy marriage strong enough to last 40 years.

Found myself slightly irritated by the slow voice when narrator was reading male parts. The story was a bit drawn out and predictable and the narration didn't help. Did stick with it but rather dull.

Rachel catches the same commuter train every morning. She knows it will wait at the same signal each time, overlooking a row of back gardens. She's even started to feel like she knows the people who live in one of the houses. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. If only Rachel could be that happy. And then she sees something shocking. It's only a minute until the train moves on, but it's enough. Now everything's changed.

This story jumps between time and characters which is a little confusing at times, that said it's worth sticking to as you soon become strangely interested in trying to understand what's behind this mixed group of individuals and become tangled in their stories wanting to know more....towards the end I couldn't stop listening....gripping!
