WOW WOW WOW
I put my audible membership on pause because I took up an offer for 3 months of kindle unlimited at £1.99 and while searching through books with audible narration I discovered this little gem of a book. I probably wouldn't have wasted one of my credits on this due to it only been around 8 hours long. but kindle unlimited gives you chance to go through lots of these short little books in a month. I've enjoyed this book so much. really fast paced and narrated perfectly. on to book 2.

I loved James Maxwell's evermen saga and Simon Vance is one of my favourite narrators so this new series was always going to have huge potential. And I wasn't wrong. What an excellent start to this exciting new series. I absolutely loved it and jumping straight into book 2.

I'm a sucker for a coming of age book. and this is a coming of age book on an epic scale. I can't understand all the reviews saying it's slow paced. you can't expect a series of books on this sort of scale to be action packed from beginning to end. it's all about immense world building and the main character coming of age. which is exactly what this book does. and the ending is well worth the wait. time to start book 2.

Wow this is one seriously good book that mashed my brain to pieces. Its a fast, intelligent, unpredictable, on the edge of your seat book that's extremely hard to put down. There's moments were it makes you laugh out loud and moments were you can't believes what you've just listened to. And its perfectly narrated. WOW

wow what can I say. I've just listened to all 4 books back to back and been blown away by them but now I've got the pain staking task of waiting for book 5. part of me wishes half of this book never happened and it came to an amazing end and part of me is so glad there is still more to come. it has set things up vary nicely indeed. just wish it was already out that's all. just hope the wait is worth it. but I'm confident it will be.
