When Anna takes on the role of companion to the owner of Wynthorpe Hall on the outskirts of Wynbridge, she has no idea that her life is set to change beyond all recognition. A confirmed ‘bah humbug’ when it comes to Christmas, Anna is amazed to find herself quickly immersed in the eccentric household, and when youngest son Jamie unexpectedly arrives home it soon becomes obvious that her personal feelings are going all out to compromise her professional persona.

I love this book. There’s nothing I didn’t like. I love all of Heidi Swain’s book. It’s wonderful that the characters in all of Heidi’s books are inter mingled. I would really like to hear more from Anna and Jamie.
Reading Heidi’s books is always something to look forward to.
Karen Cass is the perfect narrator and has a wonderful, rich voice. I always enjoy hearing Karen.

Welcome to your new cottage in the country - complete with grumpy vet, village gossip and a very muddy dog.... City girl Ella wants to take refuge in the country, lick her wounds and work out what she's going to do with the rest of her life. She certainly doesn't want to have a four-legged houseguest or anything to do with village life. Unfortunately, the inhabitants of Wilsgrave have other ideas.

From the best-selling author of Mince Pies and Mistletoe at the Christmas Market and The Cherry Tree Café  comes a glorious summer treat of glamping, vintage tearooms and love.... When Lottie Foster’s grandmother’s best friend, Gwen, dies, she leaves Lottie her lovely home, Cuckoo Cottage. Lottie loves the cottage, but Matt, a charming local builder, points out that beneath its charm it is falling apart. Luckily he is always on hand to help with the problems that somehow seem to keep cropping up. But is he just a bit too good to be true?

I loved this book. I felt completely drawn in and couldn’t put it down. Kept sneaking off to bed early to listen to it! Karen Cass narrated beautifully and her voice just lent itself fantastically to the characters. Very nice story. As with all of Heidi’s books I want to know what happens next!!

The hilarious and heartfelt new novel from the best-selling author of Out of Practice! The Practice at Larkford has suddenly been thrust under the spotlight - and its nomination as an NHS Model Surgery is causing the team major headaches. Dr Holly Graham should be basking in the glow of her new romance with fellow doctor Taffy - but she is worried that the team is prioritising plaudits over patients, and her favourite resident, the irreverent and entertaining Elsie, is facing a difficult diagnosis.

I loved Practice Makes Perfect. It was so refreshingly different from other chick lit. I couldn't stop listening and felt very involved with all the characters. I felt part of the story and now feel a bit lost that it's come to the end of this book. I know that there's another book which has been published and I could go and read it. However I'd far rather wait for it to be narrated by Anna Bentinck as she brings the characters alive.

Best seller Wickham Hall was originally published as a four-part serial. This is the complete story in one package. Holly Swift has just landed the job of her dreams: events coordinator at Wickham Hall, the beautiful manor home that sits proudly at the heart of the village where she grew up. Not only does she get to organise for a living and work in stunning surroundings, but it will also put a bit of distance between Holly and her problems at home.

Clare Balding grew up in a rather unusual household. As her father is a champion trainer, she shared her life with more than 100 thoroughbred racehorses, mares, foals, and ponies, as well as an ever-present pack of boxers and lurchers. As a toddler she would happily ride the legendary Mill Reef and take breakfast with the Queen. She and her younger brother came very low down the pecking order. Left to their own devices, they had to learn life’s toughest lessons through the animals, and through their adventures in the stables.
