For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare - poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force Tactical Air Controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

I kinda got the feeling that this is really about Goggins ego boost and not a way for us every day people to live.

Definitely a lesson on what a human being can do but there comes a time when we must leave our shorty child hoods behind and live life today - if this was therapy for him - then good stuff but a real ‘just ok’ book

To make the journey into The Power of Now you need to leave your analytical mind and its false created self, the ego, behind. Access to the Now is everywhere - in the body, the silence, and the space all around you. These are the keys to enter a state of inner peace.

This books keeps referring to PDFs and other visual content in the book - which makes it extremely difficult to listen to! Please avoid audible version - this is the 1st book I’ve ever written about like this - I listen to about 2/3 books in a month!

The narrator is terrible and clearly never read this book before. Pass on and buy it with a different person reading it.
