We're all animals...although some of us have more primal instincts than others. Ex-policeman Joe Cassidy has a keen interest in animal behaviour and how it can have a bearing on some of the most heinous of human crimes - a talent that has heavily informed his detective work over the years. Although until now, he thought that he had left detective work behind....

Well written and superbly performed. Thoroughly enjoyed the story line, especially because it is set in my area, with recognisable places!
Good mix of who done it with psychological twists.

The trouble with audio is the limited ability to skip read. I tired of this book because it went on and on with unbelievable scenarios. I love Phil Thornleys narration, but with this title, even he could'nt stop me getting bored. I have abandoned the book with still 3 hours to go because I can stand it no longer. Sorry Andy. I wish now I had not been so impulsive by ordering 2 nick stones at the same time. I dread even starting the next one - really sorry, but life is too short!
