Honestly worked this out before half way through - really not worth wasting a credit. Had to keep going in the hopes of a twist but none.

Just not worth wasting 13hrs of you life on! Thought it was never going to end - the best thing was the relief when it finally did

Good Book Spoilt by Bad Narration

Overall
2 out of 5 stars

I'm sorry to say, yet another good book completely ruined by poor narration. One of the most important things about listening to an audiobook is being able to get lost in the story (as one would in one's own head) and to not be continually reminded you are listening. The bad pronunciation and the reading of notes to editor really spoilt this book for me and I couldn't wait for it to be over. As you can see I almost completely forgot to even mention the book itself, so upset am I by the reading of it! The story is a good one, not much depth but a good insight into what happens when families don't talk to each other.

An easy listen and quite a good story but spoilt by the reader! - so many times a good book is spoilt by the reader, I sometimes wonder how they get the job!

On the whole I enjoyed the story, however it was spoilt by the poor narration.
