if you took the main characters of twilight and give them magic, you have the marked by dragon's blood series. I cringed more and more as I contiuned listening to this book. I will not be continuing this series

I enjoyed playing the God of War games since the very beginning. The story of Kratos defined the Greek tragedy. Now he story continues in the world of the Norse myths, I can't wait to see want happens now. I found this audio book and hoped it would go into more detail about the world. it is basically a retelling of the game in book form. some of it felt rushed since as boi falling ill. if you're are fan, I would say give this a go. but I think the games are fair better when it comes to the story of Kratos, the God of War

I never known that these books were the inspiration behind dreamwork’s rise of the guardians. It’s when you watch the movie and then read/listen to the novels it’s based off. It gives you a better appreciation for the author. While it was a short book, North was great and I have fun listening to it. I will be purchasing the others in the future.
