With indifferent parents, Iona Sheehan grew up craving devotion and acceptance. From her maternal grandmother, she learned where to find both: a land of lush forests, dazzling lakes, and centuries-old legends. Ireland. County Mayo, to be exact. Where her ancestors’ blood and magic have flowed through generations - and where her destiny awaits.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The book is a typically good Nora Roberts format,"pure escapism" but is totally spoiled for me, by the narrator .

What did you like best about this story?

As a huge fan, my interest is always held by the subjects written about

Was Dark Witch worth the listening time?

The narrator shouted aggressively all the way through, completely spoiling any interest I had in the story. Fortunately for me, I also have a hard copy of the book, so I could read, and put my own narrative in my head

Any additional comments?

I hope new Nora readers are not put off, her books are good and entertaining
