Stephen Moss has done a great job with this story. This, like the other titles is hard to put down once started. If you have invested into the first two books then it is a must listen and R. C. Brays narration, well it really is spot on.

This is an end but it's clearly not 'the end'. The stories universe feels like it just about to bloom into something even more spectacular and foolishly enough, an alien race has uplifted and unleashed humans into the Galaxy.

A great book, enjoyed all three.

This story just keeps getting better and better. It was everything I hoped for and more. I have the feeling this universe is just beginning to open up.

As for those who said this was too long, too padded out with too much technical details? I don't know what they are talking about, if they've read/listened to the other books what is on display here is normal and what makes the story work. As for too long? This is one of those stories you regret is coming to an end.

The whole thing is just epic, couldn't praise it more.

From the Audie-nominated narrator of The Martian. In eleven years time, a million members of an alien race will arrive at Earth. Years before they enter orbit, their approach will be announced by the flare of a thousand flames in the sky, their ships' huge engines burning hard to slow them from the vast speeds needed to cross interstellar space. These foreboding lights will shine in our night sky like new stars, getting ever brighter until they outshine even the sun, casting ominous shadows and banishing the night until they suddenly blink out.
