I had to force myself to listen, poor writing and poor narration. The synopsis appeared to spark an interest (otherwise why would I download!?) and normally I pluck good reads out but either this was made so awful by the narration or just the narration made it hard work. I think the actual book maybe palatable when read rather than listened to but fails to stand the transfer to be listened to as the descriptions and character building is limited.

Two masters of epic fantasy have combined in this brilliant collaboration to create a rousing tale. This is the story of Shana, a half-breed born of the forbidden union of an Elvenlord father with a human mother. Her exiled mother dead, Shana was rescued and raised by dragons, a proud, ancient race who existed unbeknownst to elven or human kind. From birth, Shana was the embodiment of the Prophecy that the all-powerful Elvenlords feared. Her destiny is the enthralling adventure of a lifetime.

Really enjoyed the story, whay could go wrong with having dragons and elves in a world with humans! The narrator took a lot of getting used to and her inflections on words made it difficult at times to work out character names.
