OK, so you’ve successfully introduced a new habit, or lost an old one, but how can you make it stick? In this episode Ash and Alice will try to work out what factors make change last. They’ll talk to Katy Milkman about her new project ‘Making Behaviour Change Stick’. She says the next step in the science of behaviour change is working out how you can make change that lasts forever. Ash also talks to the habit expert Nir Eyal who explains that to make change last you need to make your new habit small, manageable and fun.

Rubbish don't waste your time with this series.
It's not much substance and is just a lot of padding.

Richard Dawkins - author of The Selfish Gene, The Blind Watchmaker, and The God Delusion - is one of science's greatest communicators. This anthology of more than 40 pieces is a kaleidoscopic argument for the power and the glory of science. Breathtaking, brilliant and passionate, these essays, journalism, lectures and letters make an unanswerable case for the wonder of scientific discovery and its power to stir the imagination.

It is now 100 years since drugs were first banned in the United States. On the eve of this centenary, journalist Johann Hari set off on an epic three-year, 30,000-mile journey into the war on drugs. What he found is that more and more people all over the world have begun to recognize three startling truths: Drugs are not what we think they are. Addiction is not what we think it is. And the drug war has very different motives to the ones we have seen on our TV screens for so long.
