Think and Grow Rich is the number-one inspirational and motivational classic for individuals who are interested in furthering their lives and reaching their goals by learning from important figures in history. The text read in this audiobook is the original 1937 edition written by Napoleon Hill and inspired by Andrew Carnegie - and while it has often been reproduced, no updated version has ever been able to compete with the original.

As ever Napoleon Hill's ability to breakdown complex leadership principles is second to none. That said, much of the content comes from his earlier book "The Law of Success". In my opinion it is that earlier book that is the 5 star knock out punch. So in closing this book is certainly outstanding value - rich in content and practical guidance, but "The Law of Success" carries that bit more. The challenge is that there are one or two themes covered in greater detail in this book. If advising I would probably suggest listening to this book first, then the "Law of Success" afterwards to avoid any anti-climax. As the earlier book is simply out of this world brilliant.

Seth masterfully works his way through the art of leading with driven purpose. With light humour, wit and great examples to bring points to life - it is an impressively inspiring book that can easily be listened to over and over again. At the time of writing this is my second time around and I suspect it will not be the last. Outstanding!

In July 2004, Barack Obama electrified the Democratic National Convention with an address that spoke to Americans across the political spectrum. Now, in The Audacity of Hope, he calls for a different brand of politics: a politics for those weary of bitter partisanship and alienated by the "endless clash of armies" we see in Congress and on the campaign trail; a politics rooted in the faith, inclusiveness, and nobility of spirit at the heart of "our improbable experiment in democracy".

Beautifully written. Offers outstanding insight into the challenges of public office and the need to balance the needs of all people, rich, poor and less able, with the individual home pressures of family - partnership and parenthood. Not easy at first, but finds a tone that quickly becomes informative and inspirational.
