Considering the First Heretic and Fear to Tread are my top favs out of the horus heresy, the Path of Heaven is immense, it describes beautifully what happens to the White Scars and leads you on a constant battle for survival, wonderful narration as per and an outstanding story, definitely worth your time!

Utterly amazing! I couldn't of been happier to start on this book, even if it isn't in order it is still one of my all time favourites! In this edition of the Horus Heresy you follow Logar and his sons as they go from loyal servents to chaotic traitors, and it is done perfectly, every chapter leaves you wanting more, the details never ceasing to fill your head with perfect images, the connection you get with the stories main protagonist Argel Tal is phenomenal, allowing you to get a real look into the build up of the first heretic and the utter awesomeness of the chaos corruption inflicted onto the space marines.

Fear to Tread is violently awesome, giving you ruthless action right from the get go, from slaughtering orks to becoming uncontrollable berserkers, the Blood Angels go from bad to worse and find themselves trapped in their dark secret, if you're wanting a gore fest then this book is perfect, the details given are honestly incredible and it makes it easy to imagine everything that is happening, a truly wonderful book in the Horus Heresy.

A truly gripping story in the Horus Heresy, beautifully narrated by John Banks, each chapter draws you in and every step of the way was just as immense as the last, with an intense start followed by a nail biting build up and perfectly finished with an epic battle, full with gore and stunning detail that puts you there in the thick of it.
