This book not only teaches you how to communicate, but has tons of practice exercises to reinforce the concepts and make sure you are actually applying what you learn. It has exercises to try and tips that I keep coming back to in order to see if I am making progress. It is a good reference and workbook I found this book to be a very interesting read. There is something inside for almost every person. The factors that prevent good communication are discussed, as well as the basics to achieve effective communication skills.

This is a fantastic book for someone looking to start investing. It does a great job of not just explaining how everything works, but teaching the listen how to go about trading. One point that I really like about this book is that it is not a sales pitch. A lot of investment books today have an underlying sales pitch to purchase an authors program. Not this book.

My youngest has trouble sleeping. The sounds in this video help so much and the fact that it lasts 8 hours is perfect because we've tried shorter ones and as soon as they shut off, he wakes up. We swap between several videos in this series depending on his mood each night. I've been using this to relax me to sleep every night for awhile. The waterfalls are beautiful, and the noir lighting is soothing and doesn't interrupt circadian sleep rythum. I can see this being very useful in hospital settings, too.

This book, this author speaks to me, to my neediness and brokenness. The feelings of panic, the feelings of fear. I relate to all of them. She relates in a very easy, understandable way how she walked out of this fearful place. She relates panic attacks, I have had those so bad, I could not even remain in the grocery store buying food. I had teens and would sign a check and have them continue buying our weekly food. I feel so lucky to have found this book. I never realized how much of my self-hate and anxiety was coming from a place of fear and how much I allowed others' perceptions to shape my own.
