Alex is a curious little boy who always wonders. He wonders a lot and asks Mummy lots of questions. One day, he asks a different question: "Why is our family made up of only you and me?" To find the answer to his question, Alex will be taken on an adventure by someone dear to him. Will he find the answer? This book is very useful for children with a different family, other than the traditional family. This is a happy story, designed to make children realize what is really important in every family.

Children and the love they get from their families are the stars of the show here, whatever type of family they have. It's great to find an entertaining children's story that features the child narrating and the real questions asked by children, for children. We look forward to the next one!

Wherever we are, there are birds. And wherever there are birds, there is birdsong. It's always a pleasure (and a relief) to hear sounds that prove the world's still spinning: whether it's the sighing of migrating redwings on a damp October night, the twitter of swallows fresh in from South Africa in April, or the call of the cuckoo in May. Based on the scripts of BBC Radio 4's beloved year-long series, and distilling two lifetimes' knowledge, insight, and enthusiasm into this recording, Brett Westwood and Stephen Moss take you month by month through the year, and the changing lives of our favourite birds.

Joining Brett and Stephen is wildlife sound recordist Chris Watson, armed with an array of microphones to allow Brett, Stephen, and listeners to eavesdrop on the songs, calls, and alarm cries of the birds in the Somerset garden.

David Copperfield or The Personal History, Adventures, Experience and Observation of David Copperfield the Younger of Blunderstone Rookery, was first published in 1850. Like all except five of Dickens' works, it originally appeared in serial form. Many elements within the novel follow events in Dickens’ own life, and it is probably the most autobiographical of all of his novels. It is also Dickens’ “favorite child”.

Poor audio quality

The audio quality on this is very bad, even for ?1.19! Instead I am listening the the RNIB version of 'Desperate Remedies' by Hardy which, although not polished, is at least clear!
