Aurora Teagarden is basking in the news of her pregnancy when disaster strikes her small Georgia town: four kids vanish from the school soccer field. Aurora's 15-year-old brother, Phillip, is one of them. When a dead body is found, the local police and sheriff's department comb the county, and Aurora and her new husband, true-crime writer Robin Crusoe, begin their own investigation. With Christmas approaching, Aurora is determined to find her brother...if he's still alive.

Charlaine Harris' smash-hit Sookie Stackhouse series may have reached its conclusion, but the world of Bon Temps, Louisiana, lives on in this all-new collection of 15 stories. Written by a killer lineup of authors, including New York Times best-sellers Rachel Caine, MaryJanice Davidson, Jonathan Maberry and Seanan McGuire, and with introductions read by Charlaine herself, Dead but Not Forgotten puts your favorite characters center stage.

Any additional comments?

Very interesting to hear about the Sookie world written by different authors, and to be privvy to Charlaine Harris' take on each of them. The stories themselves vary in quality, but some of them are hugely enjoyable, I particularly enjoyed the tale of a particular vampire 200 years after the Sookie main stories.

Don't be mistaken into thinking this is another Sookie story, it is merely a list of a large number of characters from the books detailing what happens to them after the end of the series. If you're a fan you will certainly enjoy these tidbits of information though, I certainly did.

The supernatural community in Bon Temps, Louisiana, is reeling from two hard blows: the natural disaster of Hurricane Katrina and the manmade horror of the explosion at the vampire summit in the up-north city of Rhodes. Sookie Stackhouse is safe but dazed, and she's yearning for things to get back to normal. But that's just not happening. Too many vampires - some friends, some not - were killed or injured, and her were-tiger boyfriend Quinn is among the missing.
