I can’t speak highly enough of this book and the truly inspiring Rabbits. I salute you ladies. Thank you to my daughter in law for the recommendation. I will be listening/reading much more about Ravensbruck - lest we forget.

Excellent.

I have just finished this book, what better way to spend a wet Sunday morning. Having discovered Kate Quinn with The Alice Network I had no hesitation in downloading The Huntress. A fabulous listen combining history with fiction. Kate’s books are brilliantly researched and expertly fictionalised (if there is such a word). I’m not going into the story but maybe listen to The Alice Network first as one of the characters makes a very brief appearance though it isn’t necessary by any means. I intend to to listen my way through all her books learning and enjoying at the same time.

I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to the Mitford trilogy and sad that there are no more. Rachel Atkins is a fantastic narrator and brought the stories to life.

This book was brilliant and I couldn’t stop listening. Not at all what I expected and not my usual kind of book. Fabulously narrated too.

This is certainly not my usual read but I have enjoyed every minute. Perfectly narrated and covering every emotion. I’m off now to see what else Dee has written and hopefully narrated by Diana Croft.

This wasn’t my usual kind of book and I really don’t know why I chose it but I’m so glad that I did. It made me laugh out loud and catch my breath with shock in places. I will be definitely be listening to more Nick Alexander and hopefully Imogen Church too who is a fabulous narrator. Don’t miss it.

I have really enjoyed this book although of course it is harrowing in parts. The narrator was excellent and I’ll be looking for more from both the author and the narrator.
