As modern football legends, the Class of 92 need no introduction. Class of 92: Out of Their League, however, opens a dramatic new chapter in the story of former Manchester United greats Gary and Phil Neville, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt, as they all take on new roles in their lives: as owners of semi-professional club Salford City FC.

Fantastic story with top class narration. As the narrator uses different accents for the class of 92 you can picture the who’s speaking. He can switch impressively from Gary Neville to Paul Scholes to Karen the chairwoman.

On a sullen, cloudy July day ten years since 7/7, the happy, confident and optimistic British Prime Minister is visiting a charity in East London. It’s just two months after the general election which saw John Campbell's government returned to power with a clear majority, the economy is on the mend and the coalition is fast becoming a bad memory. Suddenly, a man appears out of the crowd and shoots him three times in the chest.

Enjoyed this audiobook. Ian Poulter is definitely a character who is unique on the golfing circuit and this was a great rags to riches story. Ian is honest about his passions and a good down to earth bloke. I admire his will to win especially the Ryder cup. Great listen. Recommended
