A fairly decent but pretty typical MC romance. Characters were interesting enough and the story did keep me listening.

A truly awful, dreadfully boring book. The writing was lousy with loads of lazy exposition. Characters weren’t likeable and I couldn’t care less what happened to them. Story wasn’t interesting and so so badly executed. Waste of time and money.

Really gripping plot and characters you really grow to care about. An interesting premise too. Anderson certainly has a rich imagination.

Couldn’t get into this. I don’t know if it was the narrator who seemed to have the weirdest inflections to everything so you had no idea of what emotions you were supposed to be feeling but the story didn’t hold my interest and in the end DNF.

This was interesting enough fodder with enough plot and intrigue to keep you listening. The characters were also likeable. As always Jeremy York can bring any book to life - indisputably the best narrator on audible. Emma Wilder was good too.

This continued to hold my interest after the first in the series. The politics of the planets are very interesting and the plight of the various characters keeps you rooting for them and for change. Just not original enough or exciting enough to hit my favourites list.

What an read! Such an interesting premise, such strong and interesting characters. Such a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Have listened to this many times since.

Might have been decent with a better narrator.

The narrator for this was so weak and whiny i had trouble getting into the story and characters. I think the story itself was a bit too claustrophobic taking place in an isolated location with few characters and I would have liked my hero to be more of an alpha male.

Really enjoyed the first few in this series. I did still enjoy this but it’s all getting a bit repetitive as each storyline seems very similar to the last. That said, the characters were engaging and I did care about the outcome.

This story didn’t hold my interest. The characters weren’t engaging. The plot seemed to drag along. It didn’t have enough tension to keep me listening. DNF.
