I don't like to be negative but I couldn't listen to the narrator any more. She has a nice voice and would otherwise be easy to listen to if reading something that didn't involve having to use emotion. I made it through 15 minutes and wasn't reeled in at all.

Oh dear!

I couldn't listen to more than five minutes of this book, sadly. The narrator sounds like he is in a large room and hasn't a suitable voice for character reading effectively.
That coupled with the repetitive music in the background which after a few minutes was still highly distracting. I skipped to chapter 20 and the music was still there.
Hence I haven't any idea whether the story was good because I gave up.

I cannot decide which book of TR I prefer, Amy Snow or this one. They are both brilliant. This one, again, swept me along and I was caught up in the ambiance and it became very real. There were parts that made me laugh and others that brought tears to my eyes. A job well done.

Thoroughly enjoyed this.

I enjoyed it all: the story, the history, the narrator. It moved me and the narrative swept me along.

I liked the story and the plot was good. It took a chapter to get used to the narrator.
