Good: As someone completely new to political campaigning, but will be volunteering for 1 month on a major campaign in the US soon, this has given an awesome insight into the best practises to achieve success! Really enjoyed this book - Smart thinking backed up by real experience.
Bad: The only downside to this book is that it’s outdated. There’s very little emphasis on digital strategy (which plays such a huge role now) or the use of technology. Not necessarily a bad thing, but readers should be aware this is more focused on American elections and talks only of ‘progressive’ parties.... however these teachings can be relevant to any campaign globally!

Although more an autobiography than a business book, I believe it to be a must read for any entrepreneur or anybody who wants to live a more than average life. Phil is so wise and it’s easy to understand how he got this way - a real smart book which will have you cheering for Nike, despite its now cooperate dominance.
