Maggie Baxter, a practical, rule-following accountant, discovers that her husband of 17 years is cheating on her. All her meticulous life plans are crushed. When he leaves her for the other woman, Maggie and her the-world-is-my-smorgasbord chocolate lab, Kona, are left to put their lives back together. As Maggie begins to develop a Plan B for her life, she decides to be more like Kona. No, she's not going to sniff crotches and eat everything that isn't nailed down; rather she'll try to approach life with more ball-chasing abandon.

I wanted a family with Cash. We had dreams - building a house, kids, a dog, and, yes, even the white picket fence. I don’t remember anything about my husband. Not the wedding or the vows we shared. The past 10 years were erased, but with time, they’re supposed to come back. But what if this isn’t your typical case of amnesia? What if I’m not supposed to remember? What if I was meant to forget? Maybe I don’t want my old life back. Because if the accident hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t have uncovered the truth. Losing my memory wasn’t tragic. Losing my memory was fate.

it's both such a sad story and an uplifting one all at the same time , I really felt sorry for Meadow, can't imagine how hard it is to forget everything you know, but she knows something isn't right in her life Now and she's on a mission to forget to remember, the series of events that follow really keep you guessing as to what Meadows story is and if she'll manage to work it all out

Cadence Riley didn’t have time for boys - no matter how potent their smiles were. School and working at Camp Riley were her only priorities. She knew better than to fall for someone like Fitz Quinn, the spoiled, bad boy son of a wealthy politician. But the second he spoke to her, she knew she was in over her head. He was a gorgeous trouble maker with a cocky attitude. Her heart warned her, but she didn’t listen. There was something protective and good beneath the bad boy exterior that made her insides flutter. Before she knew it, she fell hard and fast.

Candace was a sweet niave girl who was really brought to life by Lacy Laurel

the story was written brilliantly and even tho I kind of guessed what would happen at the end it didn't take away from how much I loved the story

One break is all The Crow Brothers need, and we’re about to get it. Johnny Outlaw, rock legend and lead singer of The Resistance, is here to watch us play. But he’s not the only familiar face in the crowd - killer little body, heart-shaped face, and drop-dead gorgeous. Hannah Nichols sitting at the bar makes it hard to concentrate with sparks already reigniting. The beauty was never a groupie, and tonight she’s not here to catch our show.

This amazing little bonus scene shifts his character from the shadows to full on pitch-black. Note to listeners: This is not a customary novel. Dear Melrose, The first time I met you, you were a stranger. The second time, you were my roommate. The third time, you made it clear you were about to become the biggest thorn my side had ever known. You sing way too loud in the shower and use all the hot water. You’re bossy as hell. You make my life all kinds of complicated. But no matter how hard I try, I can’t stop thinking about you. Truthfully...I can’t stop wanting you. I was going to tell you this.

I really enjoyed this story , Trevor the demon duke is a misunderstood guy , he loves women sure but he's not the 'demon' he's made out to be , and naive little Izzy fainting in his arms isn't what he wanted to happen , now people want to know who is the girl he's locked in an intimate embrace with

I struggled to connect with Izzy at first , she acts a lot younger than her 20 years and is quite immature but it does add a certain innocence to the story and the narration of the characters was pretty spot on
looking forward to listening to the next book in the series
