The previous books were ok in fact quite good but this last one started off slowly and became more and more boring and by chapter 26 it really felt like a fill in with little or ne story as if the author had said ah book 4 in the series what can we fill these pages with. It has put me off buying the others in the series. sorry not impressed

I enjoyed this book better than I have many other books and it has many good parts to enjoy. The court scenes are well written the love story is very good without being too descriptive, I thought the author gave it just the right perspective and there were a few surprises in the end. A thoroughly well written book. I hope the author writes more books in the same vein, not just one more but many.

What did you like most about Collins Spanish with Paul Noble - Learn Spanish the Natural Way, Part 1?

This series is the best learning aid I have come across for Spanish. It truly is brilliant, friendly and not patronising like so many others are.
The only issue I have is that it doesn't go further. The four parts get you started and on your way but I would like more. Any chance Paul?

If you could sum up His Omega in three words, what would they be?

This book I thoroughly enjoyed. I have read so many gay novels and felt, "I hate the reader, too camp", or "I hate the storyline, too obvious", or "It's just not realistic - mind you this storyline of the falling into the arms and love of a Prince Charming does stretch it a bit", but it gives a warm feeling without being all sex, all male (the little girl is a nice touch) and an interesting storyline. I know you could see the storyline coming but it was nicely handled. I did enjoy this book.

From Joshua Dalzelle comes the follow-up to the number-one best seller Warship. Captain Jackson Wolfe survived the initial incursion of a vicious alien species into human space...barely. He had assumed the juggernaut that had devastated three Terran systems was the herald for a full invasion, but for the last few years it has been eerily quiet along the Frontier. Jackson now struggles to convince the Confederate leadership the threat is still imminent and needs to be taken seriously.

Would you listen to Call to Arms again? Why?

This is a great second book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A good story line, moves quickly as with the first book and a surprising if not dubious surprise at the end. Possibly the author ran out of ideas on how to generate the lead in for a third book but it was a little unexpected. Just one tiny thought, I think the author got his sexes mixed up on a couple of occasions when the story moved up a gear half way through calling one person a "she" or "her" when it was a man Jackson was talking to but hey good book, good story and well read. Only complaint I guess is that there are only 3 books in the series! Looking forward to book 3.

In the 25th century, humans have conquered space. The advent of faster-than-light travel has opened up hundreds of habitable planets for colonization, and humans have exploited the virtually limitless space and resources for hundreds of years with impunity. So complacent have they become with the overabundance that armed conflict is a thing of the past, and their machines of war are obsolete and decrepit. What would happen if they were suddenly threatened by a terrifying new enemy?

It is a good story, goes along slowly with all the descriptions and the book is very short so the author could add a few more interludes. Yes just bought the third book,

United Earth burns. The Swarm runs rampant across our space. We mourn the loss of thousands of ships and millions of fallen comrades. Billions of fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers - all gone, all dead. It is time we end this, for our moment has come. But victory never comes without sacrifice. Heroes are not taught nor trained but forged in blood and ashes. Our grandchildren's history books will tell our story and glorify the heroes and legends.
