The Worry Trick
- How Your Brain Tricks You into Expecting the Worst and What You Can Do About It
- By: David Carbonell PhD
- Narrated by: Stephen Paul Aulridge Jr.
- Length: 6 hrs and 7 mins
Are you truly in danger or has your brain simply "tricked" you into thinking you are? In The Worry Trick, psychologist and anxiety expert David Carbonell shows how anxiety hijacks the brain and offers effective techniques to help you break the cycle of worry, once and for all. Anxiety is a powerful force. It makes us question ourselves and our decisions, causes us to worry about the future, and fills our days with dread and emotional turbulence.

Highly recommend to understand anxiety
This is excellent for both those who worry and for understanding loved ones with anxiety, as it is not easy to explain or understand anxiety if you do not worry yourself.
The narrator was very good and enjoyable to listen to. I listened through once and will do so again to try the techniques that were suggested.

Born a Crime
- Stories from a South African Childhood
- By: Trevor Noah
- Narrated by: Trevor Noah
- Length: 8 hrs and 44 mins
The compelling, inspiring (often comic) coming-of-age story of Trevor Noah, set during the twilight of apartheid and the tumultuous days of freedom that followed. One of the comedy world's brightest new voices, Trevor Noah is a light-footed but sharp-minded observer of the absurdities of politics, race and identity, sharing jokes and insights drawn from the wealth of experience acquired in his relatively young life.

Must listen for Trevor fans
I was a fan of Trevor Noah from his stand up and The Daily Show but I didn't know anything else about him apart from him being from South Africa. This was the perfect audiobook, funny, touching, interesting and the relationship between Trevor and his mother was really bought to life by his brilliant narration.
