Does Jessica know what the truth is? A stunning psychological debut with a shocking twist. When she arrives at work to discover every trace of the company she was working for has disappeared, Jessica's life spirals into free fall. Her romance with Michael, a celebrated criminologist, is already in trouble. He is sick of the unpredictable behaviour caused by her ADHD and is convinced she is a fantasist. They told us he had been missing for nearly two days, that he probably drowned. They told us a lie. Megan was 10 years old when her older brother, Zac, went missing among the cliffs, caves, and beaches that surround the small seaside town of Whitecliff. A decade later, a car crash has claimed the lives of her parents. Megan and her younger sister, Chloe, return to Whitecliff one summer for the first time since their brother's disappearance.

I expect that this is a good book but, the narrator was very annoying....I made it to chapter 9 and couldn't listen any more. I had to return!

The book started off ok, but as the chapters went on, I found myself zoning out because of the narrator.

This book started off slowly, but I am glad I persevered. Imogen Church is a great narrator (one of my favourites). I would recommend a listen.
