3rd time I have listened to this book and it has been at least 8 years since the last time I read it.

I have been battling with some issues and this book has really helped put clarity on things. Very easy to forget unless we constantly focus and develop ourselves. Life can easily help sway us off course unless we take control of our thought life and daily disciplines.

Would you listen to Go for No! again? Why?

Yes, Most definitely...in fact I am on my second run already! Why? Repetition is the mother of learning. As a business development professional, cold calling is the heart of my business, and getting results is a must. So, I want to soak up all of the concepts and apply them as they are unusual but relevant and if it works for the author, it has to work for me.

What did you like best about this story?

The concepts behind utilizing the word and embracing it as the path to success! The author finds many examples to prove the concept works and can be applied

Which character – as performed by Richard Fenton – was your favourite?

Eric's fictional self projected in the future,.... Hearing his stories of why he was successful at sales... very pragmatic character

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Accepting the word No exponentially. very good management concepts applicable for business

Any additional comments?

every person in sales, including managers/ directors, must have this book and implement it's concepts!

Best "kick up the Backside" I've had in a while!

If you could sum up The Practicing Mind in three words, what would they be?

practical, simple, instructive

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Practicing Mind?

Describing the perfection of a seed transforming into a flower as perfection at every stage of development and then comparing those stages to when one stays present and learn to enjoy the process at every stage of what we are doing.

Its easy to get frustrated when one loses focus on the task at hand or the process that needs to be carried out to achieve our goals.

We have to get into the habit of following the process and enjoying the journey on route to achieving the goal

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Chapter 8 and 9 where my favourites

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I completed it in two sittings

Any additional comments?

If you are someone who gets frustrated when things are not going your way and need to understand how winning is done, Especially if you are an entrepreneur, business, sales or parenthood (the author shares a lot of practical experiences)... get this book!

Where does The Power of Ambition rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Its difficult to answer as one normally buys self development books to deal with different stages of life and business, but the relevance of this book is so applicable, I would honestly rate it as the best book I have listened to to date!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Power of Ambition?

Jim Rohn addresses everything an ambitious person experiences on their quest to hit a goal or achieving a dream, what really struck a cord with me is dealing with frustration. Also choosing to be happy everyday of your experiences, enjoy the path/ the journey!
Also keeping at it, every day, every day, every day until you succeed, learning from the day before or experience before.

Skills make you a fortune!

Just absolutely inspiring to hear and apply!

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Every chapter is brilliant but the introduction just blew me away!

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book is motivational. As it's Jim Rohn talking but the way its recorded its like he's talking directly to you rather than just being another participant in a workshop. Just 10 minutes of this will set you up for the day!

Any additional comments?

If you are in sales/ sales management, a business owner, entrepreneur or anyone inspired to achieve a major goal and seeds of doubt may start to creep in or you want the wisdom to start your journey well, GET THIS BOOK! Listen to it 10 times or more! The wisdom is invaluable!
