From his training in the welsh hills and the jungles of Belize, through to his early missions in Sierra Leone and the Middle East, these nine stories chart his rise through the SAS, and his involvement with the elite Sabre Squadron. Along with his comrades Jimbo, McKay and Geordie, Spider puts his life on the line on active duty…and sows the seeds of his future career.

If you have read most of the books in the Dan Shepard series this book is for you.
It will give you some back stories of his time in the SAS which the books talk about and there are some WOW points and names you have heard in the series that makes you give props to the author. Like how he gets shot and why he named his son the name he did. Very happy with the collection.

I'm really enjoying the series so far and this book had me standing up punching the air saying "yeah".
I started the book a little sad from what happened at the end of the last one but and the end of this was the opposite.

The series of Dan shepherd gets better and better with each episode.

I was a little weary with a new voice for this episode but soon warmed to it and was immersed into the story.

The characters in the series are great and really enjoying the progress.

With each book so far they finish strong and leave u wanting more.

I have also read Nick stone from Andy and Danny black from Chris and at the min Dan spider is in pole position.
