London, 2019. Life has been easy for Maxim Trevelyan. With his good looks, aristocratic connections and money, he’s never had to work, and he’s rarely slept alone. But all that changes when tragedy strikes and Maxim inherits his family’s noble title, wealth, and estates, and all the responsibility that entails. It’s a role he’s not prepared for and one that he struggles to face. But his biggest challenge is fighting his desire for an unexpected, enigmatic young woman who’s recently arrived in England, possessing little more than a dangerous and troublesome past.

I loved how this book was narrated, particularly the male voice. I enjoyed the fact that they read their own parts throughout the book instead of mimicking the opposite sex's voice. I loved the first part of the book but I felt like the story died down in the middle and I was waiting for things to happen, parts of the book were predictable but overall I enjoyed this story. I still have unanswered questions and I would like to now how things turned out when they returned to England.

I got this book as I fancied listening to something different. My usual go to genre being erotic fiction & fantasy. I got about a 1/5 of the way through the book and had to give up and return it, its not for me. Theres nothing overly wrong with the book (however all the goddess talk was a bit dull) I just prefer my fantasy and sci-fi to be vampires and werewolves rather than space

Jason Fox served with the SBS for over a decade, thriving on the close bonds of the Special Forces brotherhood and the ‘death or glory’ nature of their missions. Battle Scars tells the story of his career as an elite operator, from the gunfights, hostage rescues, daring escapes and heroic endeavours that defined his service to a battle of a very different kind: the psychological devastation of combat that ultimately forced him to leave the military and the hard reality of what takes place in the mind of a man once a career of imagined invincibility has come to an end.

I listened to this book after reading Ant Middleton's story and loving it. I was expecting a similar story but this is nothing like Ant's book at all. It took me a while to get used to Foxy's voice as the narrator but once I did it was ok. I did enjoy Foxy's story but I didn't realise the whole book was going to be about his battle with PTSD (my fault for not doing any research on the book before buying it) I got half way through the book and I found myself still waiting for the story to move onto something new, I wanted to hear more about him, more back story maybe. That being said Foxy is a very brave and amazing man, well done to him for beating PTSD, I hope his story can help others

A new stand-alone novel from Jodi Ellen Malpas, the best-selling author of the This Man and One Night trilogies. People think they have Camille Logan nailed: Daddy's girl, beautiful, spoiled young woman with her father's bank balance to fund her lifestyle. But Camille is determined to have a life free from his strings. Out on her own, she's made mistakes, including one that found her clawing her way back after a stint in rehab and plenty of bad press.

After finishing all the books I think the saga would of been better as a trilogy, one book per brother. I'm undecided if I would read anything from the author again mainly down to the high quantity of books needed to complete one story

This book has been a great addition to the saga. I have to confess I am a little sad that there is only one book left, I have got used to having the characters in my head, that being said I am also excited to finally learn ‘the truth’

My only criticism is that some parts of the book can be over explained and repetitive, as if the book is being explained to someone who doesn’t know the history of the previous books

I really enjoyed this book, the narrators were great and the story is continuing really well, I still have no idea what the end outcome will be but all the pieces are slowly coming together, I'm looking forward to book 8. Only downside is that parts of the book (of all the books actually) are written explaining things that we already know, I feel like they are written assuming you haven't read the previous books so it can be a bit repetitive - but overall a great story
