The Game recounts the incredible adventures of the everyday man who transforms himself from a shy, awkward writer into the quick-witted, smooth-talking Style, a character irresistible to women. But just when life is better than he could have ever dreamed (he uses his techniques on Britney Spears, receives life coaching from Tom Cruise, moves into a mansion with Courtney Love, and is officially voted the World's Number One Pickup Artist), he falls head over heels for a woman who can beat him at his own game.

Interesting and funny, this should be made into a film!
A great story following the life and obsession of the author, the highs and lows of a pua. I'm well past my sell by date, wish I had the opportunity to have read this when I was much younger.
Its an advantage but don't take it too seriously, it maybe outdated, however there are references in the book if you do wish to take it seriously and some coverage on YouTube.

Although this book does tend to be more about sport there is an amazing crossover and no matter what you are trying to achieve the focus, positive thinking amongst the other examples given they were really food for thought.

From the Sunday Times top ten best-selling author of The Psychopath Test, a captivating and brilliant exploration of one of our world's most underappreciated forces: shame. "It's about the terror, isn't it?" "The terror of what?" I said. "The terror of being found out." For the past three years, Jon Ronson has travelled the world, meeting recipients of high-profile public shamings. The shamed are people like us - people who, say, made jokes on social media that came out badly or made mistakes at work.

This is certainly one of the more interesting audiobooks. Interviews with the people behind the 'headlines' the after effects, the control or lack of control and the 'mob rule' scenarios all explored and explained.

Mark Twain once observed, "A lie can get halfway around the world before the truth can even get its boots on." His observation rings true: urban legends, conspiracy theories, and bogus public-health scares circulate effortlessly. Meanwhile, people with important ideas (business people, teachers, politicians, journalists, and others) struggle to make their ideas "stick". In this indispensable guide, we discover that sticky messages of all kinds draw their power from the same six traits.

Where does Made to Stick rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I found this book very interesting but not as good as 'Contagious' or 'Over subscribed'

Would you recommend Made to Stick to your friends? Why or why not?

I have recommended this to my business partner and he shared my view.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The opening scene is very gripping

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened to this book whilst on holiday, by the pool over a week in the sun

Any additional comments?

The book starts of gripping!
But sadly loses direction and also lost my interest. There was a certain point I nearly gave it, however I continued and then...boom...
Lots or relevant stories, great ideas, examples and statistics.
A great finish but a lack lustre beginning after an amazing start...

Why do some products get more word of mouth than others? Why does some online content go viral? Word of mouth makes products, ideas, and behaviors catch on. It's more influential than advertising and far more effective. Can you create word of mouth for your product or idea? According to Berger, you can. Whether you operate a neighborhood restaurant, a corporation with hundreds of employees, or are running for a local office for the first time, the steps that can help your product or idea become viral are the same.

This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. Many new ideas and reinforcement of many suspicions one has in how people react. Great stories backed up with facts and figures, easy to understand and I can't wait to put some of this into practice.
