This is the second book by Jess Ryder that I’ve listened to, and like the first (Ex Wife), have been hooked from beginning to end! The characters have so much depth and the narrative is dark and thrilling! I highly recommend!

This is my favourite so far in the series. It was gripping from beginning to end. As well as being full of intrigue throughout, there are also parts of this book that are very poignant. I was in floods of tears during one chapter! This book is 5 stars and beyond. I absolutely loved it!

This is my favourite book by Rachel Abbott. I liked the protagonist and the way the story unfolded. Amazing! Had me gripped right to the end. Brilliant narration too.

Although the story was pretty good, the narrator was totally unsuitable for this book. It would have been better if a woman had read it, seeing as there are a lot of female characters. Instead the female voices sounded like Emily Howard from Little Britain, “I’m a lady!”. Shame as it was a good story.
