In just a decade and a half, Jack Ma, a man from modest beginnings who started out as an English teacher, founded Alibaba and built it into one of the world's largest companies, an e-commerce empire on which hundreds of millions of Chinese consumers depend. Alibaba's $25 billion IPO in 2014 was the largest global IPO ever. A Rockefeller of his age who is courted by CEOs and presidents around the world, Jack is an icon for China's booming private sector.

Really interesting audio book on Jack Ma. I was aware of him but knew very little of his history and the history of Alibaba. I found the back story very interesting but perhaps a little too long.

Really enjoyed this book. Adam Kay kept me entertained with his short diary excerpts and gave me a good laugh on my daily commute to and from work.
The laughter was also mixed with sadness and a few WTF moments with some unbelievable stores.
The serious side to the book comes out with the sheer amount of hours our NHS doctors have to face along with dealing with life and death decisions.
GREAT BOOK!!!

I would recommend this to anyone who wants to hear facts rather than fiction - you couldn't make this story up.
To come through this ordeal really shows a strong character. Superb!!!

In Revolution, Emmanuel Macron, the youngest president in the history of France, reveals his personal story and his inspirations and discusses his vision of France and its future in a new world that is undergoing a "great transformation" that has not been experienced since the invention of the printing press and the Renaissance. This is a remarkable book that seeks to lay the foundations for a new society - a compelling testimony and statement of values by an important political leader who has become the flag-bearer for a new kind of politics.
