Awkward? Maybe. But how else is a good girl going to find out if she likes being naughty? I might be sweet as cherry pie, but I'm also bold and damn curious. And Gabe is charming, trustworthy, aces at seduction (or so I hear) and - bonus! - willing to give me lessons. But to guarantee it won’t ruin our friendship, I have some specific requirements for his instruction. I want these classes to be hypothetical more than hands-on. So what if he’s hella sexy? I can handle that, no problem.

Totally typical Lauren vibes. Fabulous banter, sexy, friends and family to bond with also made this Lauren gold!

Listening on audible, Erin and Joe duet style nailed the characters and had me laughing from the picnic onwards!

Totally wish that the bookshop existed, cats and bookclub ladies. A fun, flirty terrific friends to lovers romance with the small town vibe i can wander round in my mind all day long.

I'm breaking up with setups. No more “you should meet my son, nephew, grandson, the butcher, the guy down the street who mows my lawn.” People mean well, but machines know better, so I'll rely on the great dating algorithms of the web to find my ideal man, thank you very much. Soon enough, it looks like I’ve found him - his screen name is Lucky Suit, and he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. But when we finally get together in person, I have the distinct feeling I’ve met him before. Funny enough - he says the same thing about me.

OMG One of my favourite Novellas.

I have one complaint about this! I want more. This is witty, cute, funny and everything all wrapped up in a beautiful tie.

I adore getting more from characters i love from other books, and i have that in spades here!

Andi brought Kristen and Grams to life in delicious fashion, and Zachary is a Cameron dream!

I listened with a smile on my face!

That smoking hot one-night stand with a former rock star? Turns out, he's my son's new teacher. Oops. But I didn't know that the night I met Campbell. All I knew was he played my body the same way he played a guitar - like he owned it. My libido is still high-fiving me after being self-served for too many years, and we're both ready for another night or two of fun, especially since we don't just have chemistry in bed - we connect over everything. That is, until I learn he's the man who'll be coming to my house twice a week to teach my son the best music lessons money can buy.

Luckily in this story I know I am getting more! Gimme the next book!

This is my favourite narration ever of an audio book. The full cast came together and delivered this funny, touching and romantic story beautifully.

There were a lot of new narrators for me, stand out being January Lavoy as Kingsley, I was in stitches, she knows how to deliver a line!

In true Lauren Blakely style this book had me laughing, swooning and at times I shed a tear. I won’t forget this one in a hurry and have already listened to some scenes a few times as they made me chuckle.

A word of warning. Don’t Give up chocolate or snacks before reading this book!

Near an isolated mansion lies a beautiful garden. In this garden grow luscious flowers, shady trees...and a collection of precious "butterflies" - young women who have been kidnapped and intricately tattooed to resemble their namesakes. Overseeing it all is the Gardener, a brutal, twisted man obsessed with capturing and preserving his lovely specimens.

Not just one kidnapped girl in this one, but a whole garden full. A story and a half in this one told from the POV Maya one of the Butterflies in the garden.

Packed full of detail and story and well thought out all the way through to till end where it just fell a little short. A little rushed almost. But still worth the 5stars as it was a great listen.

On a stifling summer's day, 11-year-old Jack and his two sisters sit in their broken-down car, waiting for their mother to come back and rescue them. 'Jack's in charge,' she said. 'I won't be long.' But she never comes back. Three years later, mum-to-be Catherine wakes to find a knife beside her bed, and a note that says: 'I could have killed you'. Meanwhile Jack is still in charge - of his sisters, of supporting them all, of making sure nobody knows they're alone in the house, and - quite suddenly - of finding out the truth about what happened to his mother. I do stop listening if I get bored, I didn’t. I wanted to know who did it and what would happen to this family. The children were great! Merry a little girl being my favourite.

The detectives in the case do range from bungling to crooked at times and that is all part of the charm.
The narrator suited the detectives in the book and the theme.
Will look for more from the author.

It's so easy being best friends with a gorgeous, talented, charming guy. Said no woman ever. Except me. My friendship with Miller is a sure thing - he’s my plus one, my emergency contact, and my shoulder to lean on. He’s also been by my side helping me raise one helluva awesome kid who’s the center of my world. Nothing will change our easy breezy friendship. Until I have the bright idea to convince him to start a new band with me. Trouble is, our sizzling chemistry in the recording studio is getting harder to ignore, no matter how risky it might be.

Listened on audible which totally made it, Lauren always picks the perfect pairing in her narrators and I had a ball listening to the smooth as chocolate Sebastian York and the ever delightful Andi Arndt bring this romantic comedy to life.

The female lead Ally is a narrator of books and this was pure genius. I chuckled along the way listening to Andi, who is a queen at her job narrating this.

Made me smile through many a journey and sleepness night!

Something inside me fiercely craves normal. Sheltered all my life and taught to be afraid, I want to be bold, fearless. Up until now, I've kept myself and my heart safe. Tade Astor, a guy so hot he steals my breath away, jeopardizes it all. He isn't the kind of guy to give up on what he wants - me. He's determined to prove my safe world is missing something - him. Even though he may not be the cocky guy I assumed him to be.... He's definitely not the guy I should give my heart to.

I couldn't have scripted a more perfect night. For one fantastic evening, at a masquerade party in the heart of Manhattan, I'm not the millionaire everyone wants a piece of. Fine - multimillionaire. But who's counting all those commas? Not me, and not the most intriguing woman I've ever met. And that's why I'm eager to get to know her more, since my mystery woman seems to like me for me, rather than for my huge...bank account. Everything's coming up aces. Until the next day, when things get a little complicated. (Newsflash - a lot complicated.)

This is one of my favourite way for a couple to meet in a book, a fabulous masquerade ball!! it is so fairytalesque! And the fairytale didn't disappoint, Flynn was the perfect Prince charming, handsome, smart, kind, sexy and swoon worthy.

Sabrina was not a damsel in distress, who needed rescuing, but she did have a few of life's obstacles in her way, and although a modern women never needs a man to take care of them, sometimes a hand to hold along the way sure is nice.

I loved both characters, they were a delight to get to know, as was the setting, once again I get to enjoy a little of the area that Sabrina and Flynn live in as Lauren describes the scenes and areas so well.

Another few places to add to my places to see on my book scenes map of the world courtesy of Authors read.

Andi & Sebastian are a dream team in the romance genre and can put no foot wrong. A dream to listen to, bringing the characters to life in their unmistakeable style.

I'll say this about Christian - he made one hell of a first impression. When I first saw the strapping man, he was doing handstands naked on a dock along the canal. His crown jewels were far more entertaining than anything else I'd seen on the boat tour, so I did what any curious woman would do - I took his photo.

Having met Christian & Elise in Wanderlust, I fell in love with them, and was delighted when I knew they were getting their own story. This is a complete standalone, and although if you haven't read Wanderlust, do.. it is just beautiful and romantic and sexy too!

The boat tour in Copenhagen is the first 'meeting', and I love a boat tour, a cheeky captain and a gorgeous view. Who doesn't?

Luckily, missed opportunities are no match for fate and chance and this duo were destined to meet again, this time in Paris courtesy of Griffin & Joy. And Joy delivers. Humour, banter, flirting and charm by the bucket load. They have had their pasts, so there are moments, but having just listened to some of my favourite ever Shane East narrating, I can certainly say, that the tears I cried were of laughter and not sadness.

Grace is a favourite narrator of mine, and this put Shane right up there to the top of my fave British male narrator to listen to. He nailed it! I loved his portrayal of Christian.
