For the very first time, and straight from the horse's mouth, a top manager's intriguing insights into the daily trials and tribulations, the joyous peaks and soul-destroying troughs of life as a football 'gaffer'. Ever wondered how a transfer deal is done? What a manager says during his pre-match team-talk? What he screams from the technical area? What goes on in training sessions, and on those long away trips? How a manager carefully builds a team, and what he does when the planning is disrupted by injuries?

By downloading an autobiography from a character such as Neil Warnock you’d be forgiven for expecting warts and all exciting tales from his long career. This is pure trivia, nothing of any real interest unless you want to know what he likes on his sandwiches and other such rubbish. As a wolves fan perhaps my view is tainted somewhat after his reaction to Nuno at full time however I was hoping this would be great entertainment. Added to that, Warnock’s voice is so dull and monotone that I almost dropped off at the wheel listening to him. A great cure for insomnia but other than that avoid like the plague.
