Well written, easy to get along with characters, enough intrigue to keep it interesting, thanks to the author and to the narrators.

I enjoy Mr Baldacci’s style of story telling, especially the Amos Decker books, not sure this character really cuts it, but stuck with the story, very well tied off, just could have been a bit more pacey

Marvellously evocative and spellbinding story, I’ve been reading Wilbur Smith all my adult life, this early book is brought to life again by the narrator and kept me enthralled all over again,
Thank you.

Rip roaring adventure, fast and very entertaining, always enjoy Ben Hopes adventure, him and Jack Reacher should get together for a story, now that would be a read!, thanks to the author.

The epic story of human space colonisation continues at a pace, excellent characters great story lines, plenty of twists and some kind of conclusion to each book. Then on to the next instalment.
Good stuff Mr Lozito

Enjoyed the book thoroughly, I'm a big fan of the eagle series with Cato and Macro, so this new character will suit me just right, carry on Simon.

I’ve been reading Wilbur Smith since I was a young man, approx 30 + years, always enjoyed the adventure and evolution of the Courtney’s and the Ballentyne’s. I don’t understand how graphically describing sex scenes adds to the story, always thought a good story was about painting a picture for the mind to interpret. It’s called imagination and it’s what I always enjoyed about Smiths work. Do not like having something that should be a passing comment in the whole story continually dominating the plot. Very poor effort.
