This book is like the ideal best friend. Straight talking, concise and honest. The books bleeds compassion & empathy. Read it. Reread it and share it with everyone.

Honestly, for me, it’s better than anything Shakespeare wrote. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.

I enjoyed it.

Sometimes it was a bit pedestrian specifically the last chapter but I liked it overall. A nice wake up call to be more compassionate.

As I use audiobooks a lot I like to increase the speed so I can't get through them faster. The reader is so relaxed and comfortably slow that I was able to play it at x1.5 speed. Yay. Beyond that, it appears to be quite objective. The story wasn't too congratulatory but it was fun to read and hilarious for so many reasons.
A number of other books are effortlessly but notably promoted within the book.
The writer really found a great narrative to run with. He gets it in there early and it is relevant all the way through to the end.
The only odd thing I noticed is that Bezos doesn't appear to have anything contradictory about his character. I suppose the book is about the company more so than the founder. This book is the solution to te image problem raised in the book. This book, I think is designed to foster a better relationship between consumers and Amazon. This is part of the strategy to make Amazon "cool."
Well it certainly worked on me.
It like I just listened to an episode of This is your Life (for Amazon).
This is clever.

I recommend this book to business students especially marketing people and motivational people.

Enjoy

Determination is great.

Hiking through this book is extraordinary. So many great peaks, surprising and inspiring moments. Nevertheless it is a bit sanitised or too aboveboard.
Anyone born in the 80s should read this book. 5/5 rating for great reading voice, and interesting story.
