After moving in she discovers that a previous tenant, Emma, met a mysterious death there - and starts to wonder if her own story will be a rerun of the girl before. As twist after twist catches the listener off guard, Emma's past and Jane's present become inexorably entwined in this tense portrayal of psychological obsession.

Really enjoyed this as an audible book and loved the characters...especially Jane. Really good performance by Emilia Fox.
Quite tempted to use the morality questions as conversation starters at a dinner party...may cause too much havoc though??

A story can be ruined by poor narration, I’ve listened to many that could have been so much better if the person narrating the story had a bit more life in their voices.
Then there’s Johnathon Keeble... this man makes a good story brilliant, any character or accent required, he does so well.
Now I look for his narration when buying an audible book and this is a good book!

The young girl you have found isn't the first experiment I've carried out. She won't be the last. A tense, unpredictable crime debut that will not only have you gripped, but will chill you to the bone. Perfect for fans of Stuart MacBride and Mark Billingham. A serial killer is stalking the streets of Liverpool, gruesomely murdering victims as part of a series of infamous, unethical and deadly psychological experiments.

A really good story, very believable. What takes this to another level though is the performance of Jonathon Keeble, he does audible so well! His character voices are excellent and all so different and he reads with such passion.
I base my search for a good book to listen to by genre and who is reading it and he’s the best I’ve heard. Just Brilliant !

On a bitterly cold winter's night, Liverpool is left stunned by a brutal murder in the grounds of the city's Anglican Cathedral. A killer is on the loose, driven by a chilling rage. Put on the case, DS Nathan Cody is quickly stumped. Wherever he digs, the victim seems to be almost angelic - no one has a bad word to say, let alone a motive for such a violent murder. And Cody has other things on his mind, too.

My first experience of a Robert Galbraith book. I really enjoyed the narration which I normally struggle with. Robert Glenister could turn his voice from man to woman and from a Cornish accent to a Borders accent, and after listening to a good few audio books I think that's a rare skill!! I loved the characters and the relationship between Cormoran Stike and Robyn, I'll be going back to the start now to catch up!
