I nearly gave up a third of the way into the first book. I couldn't see where it was going. boy was I spot on I had no clue what a bumper filled ride it would be.

Anyone who gets this far into a series and doesn't give it five stars hit the wrong button accidently

You guys already know. it's great. can't wait for the TV series but if RC doesn't play Skippy I'm not watching it.

I love this author. but waiting a year for a sub ten hour sequel read by a guy who thinks bringing a character alive means making him northern is too much.

would someone introduce the publisher to Mr John Lee. start again. I'll buy it in a 2 for 1 sale

if your easily offended ..off

even for me the profanity was a bit much to start but as you became accustomed to it you start to see something else...even more profanity .
brilliantly captures the humour found in terrible situations. it highlights the way people are awful while hunting at some freaky Buck Rogers shinanigans to come.

I love this book. but I loved the first part and the simple parts best.
I love an epic David Gemmel and I'm not going to lie the part of this book that makes it great is the opposite of that.

I think the idea of a peaceful place where the action doesn't happen but is referred to in stories and confessions would be wonderful.

this is a lovely book

it really is

then it isn't ...shame

no point buying it as the sequel isn't on audible

it may well change but at the moment you can't get the second book

even though you can listen too a bit of it at the end which implies copyright nonsense

make sure you have listened to everything written and everything performed by these two.

this one shows the finesse that has developed over the multi series. I totally love it.

can I just ask that mini -skippys appear in a kind of Stan Lee/ Hitchock style?

while I'm on that ...you can't leave us hanging like that.

I read the books in the wrong order ...my bad

I love the narrator
I love the fire fly millennium falcon cross over

I love the many Karl's and the many Carl's (not so keen on Brad)

Mort is one of the best characters ever written. .. only he isn't . without Roddy, Espa and the others he wouldn't work.

and the dog/wookie made me laugh and want to cry at times because he is the soul of the whole story. if not in any way central to it

basically I bought this because it was 80 plus hours long.

no I wish it was longer. both the author and the narrator grow and grow over time and . ..well best Fing credit I ever spent and I'll miss all of you.

I nearly gave up on the first book but then boom it literally took off. the narrator is amazing. he's like a one man band....only you want to listen to him, not walk past trying to avoid eye contact.

the relationship between the two main characters is fantastic and the supporting 'cast' is great. the author has a fantastic grasp of comedy and pathos.

basically if you have to read one series of books about a guy and his A.I then this is it. (although technically the AI is Fabulous so he should be an AIf.......think about it...
