The thrilling third instalment in the Millennium's Rule series by international number one best-selling fantasy phenomenon Trudi Canavan. Five years have passed since the Rebels confronted the Raen. Five years in which the boy Rielle rescued, Qall, has grown up among the Travellers, with no memory of the life that was stolen from him. Five years of chaos barely contained by Baluka and the Restorers. Worlds are at war, some overrun by deadly machines, some drained of magic by power-hungry sorcerers.

Took me a while to get into it and remember the characters, as it's been a while since I read the previous instalment. However once I got back into the rhythm of the story. I loved it!

So it's very JF! same old base line including a bank a rise in politics. A good sliding doors concept but not really followed through. A strange ending that didn't really combine or tie up loose ends.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the charachters were great and I especially liked Natasha. However I was really disappointed with the last chapter. I felt it was rushed. It was like the writer was trying to tie up every storyline within the book extra quickly. I think she should right a follow up book to this one. Continuing the journeys of the charachters.

Julian Fellowes's Belgravia is the story of a secret. A secret that unravels behind the porticoed doors of London's grandest postcode. Set in the 1840s, when the upper echelons of society began to rub shoulders with the emerging industrial nouveau riche, Belgravia is peopled by a rich cast of characters. But the story begins on the eve of the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. At the Duchess of Richmond's now legendary ball, one family's life will change forever.
