"The dirty little secret about most organizing advice is that it's written by organized people," says blogger, speaker, and decluttering expert Dana K. White. "But that's not how my brain works. I'm lost on page three." Dana blogs at A Slob Comes Clean, chronicling her successes and failures with her self-described "deslobification process". In the beginning she used the name Nony (short for aNONYmous), because she was sharing her deep, dark slob secret. Now she has truly come clean - with not only her real name but the strategies she has developed.

I have read bits and bobs on the blog so thought I would give this book a whirl. Boy am I glad I did! I totally identify with everything, it all made total sense.
I would definitely recommend this to a friend....but only if they have a similar mindset!

Hooray for this book! I have finally heard something that perfectly sums up how I've felt all my life. I'm not going crazy after all!

All jokes aside, this book is expertly written and backed up with both anecdotes and medical studies.

As someone with suspected adhd (awaiting consult), I did wonder if I would be able to make it through with the narrator's long drawn voice. So much so that I nearly didn't buy it. I'm so glad I did though. The narration was engaging and kept my interest throughout. It was a great tool for keeping me in one room at a time while I cleaned!!

Will definitely be listening again (as I have forgotten most of the things I want to take from this book hahaha!).

A day doesn't go by without money coming into our interactions. But how much do we really understand it? We know we need money. We tend to want more of it. But why do we behave so strangely with it? And why does it have such a hold on us? Award-winning BBC Radio 4 presenter Claudia Hammond delves into the surprising psychology of money to show us that our relationship with the stuff is more complex than we might think.

Really great book about the psychology of money. Very well researched and backed up with lots of experimental anecdotes. I enjoyed listening to Claudia's narration.
