Meet Zoe and Greg Milton, a married couple who have let themselves go a bit. Zoe was a stunner in her college days, but the intervening decades have added five stone, and removed most of her self-esteem. Greg's rugby-playing days are well and truly behind him, thanks to countless pints of beer and chicken curry. When Elise, a radio DJ and Zoe's best friend, tells them about a new competition, it seems like the perfect opportunity to turn their lives around.

This was bought as a daily deal and for the first time I forgot to listen to a sample. Oh my days, what a mistake, I couldn't believe how bad Heather Wilds narration was.
Robotic, boring voice. I don't know if this is the first book she has ever read? But it's like she just didn't know how and when to punctuate or stop.
Her attempt at accents were cringe worthy and to be quite honest, slightly racist. I couldn't work out if Will was Irish or Scottish, and the poor old Jamaican couple, well. I have no words. If you can't do accents, DON'T.
The story itself would have been funnier if I had read it myself, but it was ok for what I listened to, however, I finally buckled at chapter 5. I couldn't bear to listen to her anymore it was proper GBH on the ear-holes (as my nan would say). Nick Spalding should demand a refund from Heather Wilds and get somebody human to read it.
