When one of your all time favorit book series is at an end and the last book comes out. It is with so many mixed feelings, that you start reading. You really want to get that ending. But at the same time. You dont want to say goodbye.
What Shane and Elena did for this series, only made it that much better. They made Celia and Edward come alive. Shane have just the right amount of asshole-ishnes in his voice to make him sound like a sophisticated British hot arrogant powerful gentleman.
I am not ready to say goodbye to Celia and Edward. I think this is one of those series that will stay with me forever. Celia, Whom i was not ready to fall this hard in love with, when i started reading the first book. Showed some strength and power in this book. She didnt let Edward take all the control. But showed how strong a fighter she is. How powerful she is, when she have something to fight for. And she finally gets to show both Edward and finally Hudson how deep her love runs, and how much she has changed after meeting Edward.
And finally finally finally we got to se the other POV of both Chandlers book and Fixed forever`. Its like we finally came full circle, not just for Edward and Celia, But also Hudson and Alayna, and Chandler and Genevieve.
This book just shows why Laurelin is my favorit auther. she is simpty the best ever.

Irina Shapiro is One of the best authers of historical romance. She doesnt just write a story. She creates a time travel portal to a different time in historie. Its like you can smell and feel the place She takes you to. I WAS in NOLA. I WAS on that plantation. I was in the swamps. I get so caught up in her books, that I forget where I am and what I do.
These books are so heartbreaking and desperat and sad. That if not for the parts of Quinns life. This would be so so sad. I Really love it.

hmm. i had abit of a problem reviewing this. And giving it stars. all in all I liked it. I liked the plot, i liked the story, I liked the caractors. alot. it had me cought from the beginning. I Really liked Rodney narrating it. He did a fantastic job.
But damn. And I must say, what a shame. But to the auther. you cant writhe a book with a pregnent woman, and have a doctor hero offering her cigerets and getting tipsey at a Dinner. The doctor serving her wine. its a no go. And really a shame. because it had me so irritated through the book. that at one point I felt like dnf'ing. Dont Know if its because its a male auther and he just doesnt know better. But damn. not cool.

This. This was bad. The storyline was horrible. The characters were horrible. And it really was a shame. because I Really liked how rodney performed this. its a shame the story wasnt better for his sake. But this.. This was bad. normaly I like and look for male authers. But damn do some reserch. no woman in her right minde, would ever talk about herself like this. " im young horney and fertile......" nobody talk about them self as fertile. And only a man would make a male caractor talk about his big bad anakonda like it is gods gift..
Nope. Not for me

up until the prolog I Really liked this book. I love a good mc romance like the next girl. And I dont want all the men in the World to be good men to the World. just to the girl. But damn. dont make a gang of bikers that live from selling drugs through a cherity party for a rehab center. that just ruins it fir me. And it really is a shame. Because this was a damn good book and a damn good performance from Rodney. But shit it was a bad ending

this book. if not for the narrators I would have dnf'ed it. So not for me. Dont make it sound like you have comitted one of the 7 sins because your husband died in a car crash 4 years agow. It just rubbed me all kindes of wrong.
I kept listening because I like the narrators. But damn it was not good. So sorry about that.
