Adam Monroe, the prophet's son, a dark prince to an empire that grows by the day. He is tasked with keeping me safe from the wolves of the outside world. Being labelled a player never stopped me from being successful with women. Until I met Truly Harbury. Truly was the first girl who ever turned me down. And she might just be the first woman with whom I ever fall in love. When an emergency means she needs my help running her family’s charity, I’m happy to introduce her to the glitz and glamour of the London business world - taking her to dinners, coaching her through speeches, zipping up the sexy evening gown I helped her pick out. The more time we spend together, the more I want to convince her I’m not a man to avoid.

When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

On a note. i have this rule. i always do audio for Amys books.
Normaly i would say i am the kind of reader who would read the kind of books that Kate(Mercedes) writhe. The hot steamy books. But Then there is some authers that can writhe so good that they keep me reading, no matter what they write. Amy ia one of these authers. She can also make me laugh. And i dont do funny. But i do Amy kind of fun.
So well written. And such a good lovestory. The relationship between Miles and Kate is so good. They finde each other when Kate findes her muse, her place to writhe in a tire depot's costomer care center. So she thinks she is smart and sneak in every day unnoticed. But Miles see her. And simply cant stay away from the beautiful readhead.

Everything you do is to do good to others. you didnt come off as this selfless guy when we first Met you. But damn. I Think you have the biggest heart of them all. You fight and you struggle to make everything right. to make everybody happy. I ended up hoping you would do something to make you happy. And you did get your HEA.
to get these pro narrators to narrate this book only brings it to the next level. Jacob Morgan is the hottest voice there is out there. I Think he is the best male narrator there is at the moment. And when he is mixed with the Queen of audio it brings a 5 star book to a 6-7 star book.

well. sometimes I say yes I would like to listen to a book and review it. I always go in blinde. never look at the book before. never look at who the narrator is. So what a Nice surprice to finde it is my favorit female narrator Tracy Marks. She brings this book up from a 3 to a 4 star. She is AMAZING.
The story. I felt like I was listening to a mix between Rebecca and Jane Eyre. And that Should be a good thing. But it was placed in the wrong time. all the mysteri felt out of place. I kept thinking nobody is that naive and out of the loop in modern day. I dont Know for sure. But it felt like the maine caracter was not the smartest person in the world. And that irritated me through the book.
Its not like i didnt like it but at the same time it wasnt that catching as I wanted it to be. Maybe had I listened at another time i would have liked it more.

So I read the book jumped straight to the audio. Because I had to listen. I had to hear how it would sound. And I love it. who needs a movie or a tv show, when we have audiobooks.
The Narrators make it come so much alive. bouth of them. But I have to say. I Think I have fallen in love with Imogen Church. Her performance is above and beonde amazing. This story has so Many emotions such big feelings. And She makes it all come out. Her voice is everything.
Louise Bay has made a perfect book. each new book by her is the best. everytime She writes a new book it is Better Than the last. And this is the best until the next.

I thought I was Into sifi. And aliens was just my thing. And in alot of ways it was. there was Some good parts of this story. But at the same time there was something missing.
Some of the things that rubbed me the wrong way was. if u tell About how things work on the planet earth. It doesnt work if you only tell it out of an American pov. We dont all have our structure in Our contry that way. this might just be because I am not an American that I notticed this.
the narrator did a good job and had a Nice flow to her voice that made it easy to keep listening Even if the story wasnt 100% for me
