You can't compare I loved them both very much.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved River's character. A smart and capable women who rescues the men ... lol. Definitely one of the best female leads created.

What does Samantha Cook bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Samantha's interpretation of the book was truly inspiring she brought the book to life and gave it just a little more realism.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When they describe how River's parents died and how it affected her. Brought a tear to my eye.

Any additional comments?

I love S.E. Smiths books she's one of my favorite authors and I can't get enough reading material. So far I've read everything to date and she's yet to let me down. I have no hesitation recommending her as an author, you'll enjoy her books.

If you could sum up Kyele's Passion in three words, what would they be?

Intense, entertaining and sinful

What other book might you compare Kyele's Passion to, and why?

It's not a fair question authors create original characters and it would be an insult to compare them. But for the sake of being honest S.E Smith and M.K. Eidem write characters with just as much depth and background to them.

Which character – as performed by Ryder Watkins and Char Adams – was your favourite?

Have to admit to liking Lissi, looking forward to hearing more from her in Rydak's Fall.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Have to admit to laughing quite a bit, especially with the antics of the women.

Any additional comments?

Just love the books that Michelle Howard writes including her warlord series. Looking forward to reading and hearing more from her.

Would you consider the audio edition of Abducting Alice to be better than the print version?

I bought this book when it came out and was delighted to see that it came out in audio format. The audio version is unabridged so it's exactly like the book but I was disappointed in the narrator.

What other book might you compare Abducting Alice to, and why?

There are a few alien abduction books out and about including fantastic works as Grim by M.K. Eidem and Jo's Journey by S.E. Smith.

What didn’t you like about Jennifer Cliff’s performance?

I didn't like the performance by Jennifer Cliff, the story didn't flow well and her Australian accent made the characters sound dumb and slow witted. I was disappointed that a book that I originally quite enjoyed left me feeling deflated.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I wouldn't make a film of this book

What did you like most about Love Like No Other?

I loved the fact that two narrators were used. Getting a male and female perspective brings the book to life.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I guess it has to be Jaxon, what woman doesn't want a guy that would treat them so amazingly. But I also like the Queen Cordie I can't wait to see what more she can do :)

What does Jennifer Ann and Ian James bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

I've read the book so buying the audio version wasn't necessary. But I love listening to these same stories again and again. Especially when the narration brings an extra dimension to the storyline and brings the characters more to life. Jennifer Ann and Ian James bring that extra dimension in my view and make the characters live and breath.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I always want to listen to my audiobooks in one sitting, lol. I love the stories so much and Michelle Howard is an amazing author. Long may she continue to share her worlds and stories with us.

Any additional comments?

I'm always scared to recommend authors to anyone because personally speaking I've had to done to me before and I've not really loved the books as much as the person recommending them. However, I have to admit to recommending this author to some friends and they've loved her work. Exceptional authors are rare but I've read a few of Michelle Howards books and she falls into this catagory for me. Long may she continue to share her stories and her worlds with us.
